Father's Day Tie Banner and Gift

Father's day was around the corner and I have really been getting off on banners lately.  So I made one for of course Father's day.  It was simple and turned out darling.  When I saw this on a blog it was made out of paper and I wanted to be able to keep using it so I made it out of fabric.

I first cut out a template of a tie from a piece of paper.  Then pinned it to my fabric and cut out 15 ties.  What made it the easiest for the letters was to iron the fabric to iron-on paper.  Then I cut them out on my Cricut and ironed them on to the ties.  Simple right.  After they were all made I used a heavier jute rope and zig-zagged the ties on to the jute.
I loved how this turned out and now I will have one every year for Father's Day.

I then made a Candy Bow-K and decided to make one for my hubby.  I took a piece of floral foam and glued the box candy around it.  Then glue all your candy bars onto skewers with hot glue.  Stick them into the foam where you want them and tuck tissue paper around the edges.  Cut pieces of tulle and stick in between the candy bars and VOILA you are done.
To make it more personalized I wrote a little note that went with most of the candy bars that I used.

Happy Father's Day to my hubby.
Love him and always will.

Studio 5 with i-rock

Our segment on Studio 5 is all about the i-rock tool by Imaginsce.
I had fun using this tool and learning how it works.

You can see here that we made many project with this tool. It is very versatile and can be used on multiple mediums. Will explain more of some of the projects below.

Father's Day Gift
Wouldn't any Dad love this gift. I was fun to make and was pretty easy also.
You can download the kiss coupon here:
Print it out on any paper that you would like and sign it. The paper we used was from Adorn it. Also print out the tag and sign.  Father's Day

This banner was made from SEI paper. I loved how this turned out. I also made a Spring one and have used it but needed a Summer one also. The paper fans are made out of old book pagesaccordion folded and stapled together.

These are refurbished pillows that were purchased for really cheap and recovered. I then i-rocked them and added bling that it needed.

The lamp was also redone. I spray painted it white and then covered the shade in pink and add the bling with the i-rock.

I had this star and it was metallic blue a little overwhelming so I deco-podged paper on to it and add of course the needed bling for the 4th of July.

This baby set onesie and burp clothe are a perfect gift and easy to make. Get a onesie and find a template you like and then i-rock away. The burp cloth is made out of a cloth diaper and added material to the center and added the sparkle.

We hope you enjoyed this segment and would love to see you in the store. We have the products there at the Book Table and are ready to assist you with any questions.
i-rock to your hearts desire.
